National Reitox Academy for Armenia on ‘Monitoring and control of new psychoactive substances’, Yerevan, Armenia

This Reitox Academy was organised in cooperation with the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia. During two days of the meeting, experts from Poland, Latvia, Slovenia and the EMCDDA discussed with participants how the EU Early Warning System operates and how new psychoactive substances (NPS) are monitored in Europe. The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences on legal practices for the control of NPS and discuss public health responses to new psychoactive substances. The meeting was attended by more than 20 Armenian experts representing various law enforcement and security bodies, as well as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and some non-governmental organisations.
